The Ten of Shrike and Krait

Adult Heroic Ensemble Fantasy

Hanna the Red hasn’t wielded a knife in three years—except to cook. The Shroud is no more, her
part in the centuries-long feud between the Houses of Shrike and Krait is behind her, and she’s
settled into retirement at her bakery. But when Princess Nephele, the Shrike heir apparent, is
captured by the Krait, Hanna puts down the bread and picks up the blade.

Her task is threefold: infiltrate an impregnable castle, rescue the princess, and take down the Krait
Lord. To do this, Hana reassembles the Shroud, the clandestine paramilitary team she once led. Her
team includes faces both old and new: a deadly songstress, an engineer haunted by his past
inventions, and the self-proclaimed second-best swordsman in all of Arahei.

Hanna’s task becomes far more personal when she learns that Captain Marozo Fedelio, her former
second-in-command, has defected to the House of Krait. Ever the model soldier, Marozo protects his
master with his own team of formidable warriors for hire, more than a match for the would-
brescuers.

When the Houses of Shrike and Krait clash, old friends are forced to confront each other, bitter pasts
are unearthed, and the strength of forgotten legends is tested by the terrible new weaponry that
threatens to reshape the land itself.

Song of the Raptors

She quickly becomes embroiled in Kazmeir’s latest case: a raptor rancher murdered and his raptor pack stolen. Willa and Kazmeir soon discover the murder was only a small piece in a larger plan crafted by a mysterious man named Prent, who can bend raptors to his will with his flute, changing them from beasts of burden to ruthless killers with one note. When Willa realizes that she possesses the same musical power, she must stand against Prent and his army of raptors to protect Drick.
