A few months ago, a short story idea stumbled into my brain. I don’t get many ideas for short stories nowadays, but I jumped on this one as soon as it showed up. Now, I’ve decided to share it with all of you. The story is called Pepperdam Luck: Tales from Eckus VI.
Klint Pepperdam is good at cheating at cards—just not indefinitely. When his getaway plan goes wrong, he finds himself stranded in the middle of the desert with an angry gang hot on his trail. His luck is already bad, and there’s a high chance it’s going to get worse.
The story will be available here on my website Tuesday July 12th in both text and audio form. I’ll post more details leading up to the release. In the meantime, keep an eye out!
